Melinda and Lisa are young business women with a lot of passion for developing men's skin products of the highest quality without using harmful chemicals. Realising that men around the world are beginning to take care of themselves our trials started in our homes on our tradesmen husbands. We both saw the need to create a product line with packaging that men can relate to. Simplicity is the key for Stella + Marco.

Our research has shown many men appreciate being able to pick up a product and see straight away what it does, use it and put it back – no fuss! Our products have been made with this in mind and therefore our packaging has been kept simple and concise. Men relate to packaging materials that do not make them feel feminine hence the reason for aluminium being used as our design feature. Another focus is the ingredients in our products and keeping them as close to natural as possible.

After much research into carcinogens and the harmful chemicals in cosmetics, we set out to develop a simple skincare range for men that was “Stripped Naked” of harmful chemicals, and reduced the number of known carcinogens in our products. We have used our own knowledge and research to keep ingredients in these products as organic as possible, whilst allowing long shelf life. Therefore the preservative systems in our products have been chosen because of their ability to extend shelf life to 2-3 years, whilst keeping harmful chemicals and known carcinogens minimal. All men and women would appreciate limited chemicals in products being used on their bodies.  Choosing recyclable packaging like aluminium was also the deciding factor before production commenced.  Stella + Marco are supporting the environment by remaining eco friendly.

The Stella + Marco “Stripped Naked” range is  designed to be a product that any man could leave in his bathroom without feeling ashamed or embarrassed. Marketing for our product is based around a principle of humour, simplicity and sexiness - all very masculine qualities!
